Accelerate is a five-time Grade 1-winning Champion Older Horse. He notched notable scores in the G1 Breeders’ Cup Classic at Churchill Downs, posting a 105 Beyer, and in the G1 Pacific Classic with a record-setting win margin and a 115 Beyer. He is one of only three horses to win the Santa Anita H. (G1), Gold Cup at Santa Anita (G1), and the Pacific Classic (G1) in the same season. He ended his career with 10 wins, five seconds and six thirds from 23 career starts, with $6,692,480 in earnings.
Accelerate, the son of Classic-winning Champion Lookin At Lucky, is out of the stakes-placed dam Issues. He is a half-brother to stakes winners Daddy DT and Amarish, and hails from the same female family as Grade 1 winner Wagon Limit and graded winner Puzzlement.
Accelerate's highly anticipated first crop of weanlings made headlines this fall with multiple six-figure lots at the Keeneland November Sale. His first-crop median of $75,000 ranks him #4 of all freshman sires, and he is the only one standing for $20,000 or less to have sired three individual six-figure weanlings.
